To ξύλο mango είναι φυλικό προς το περιβάλλον, ιδιαίτερα ανθεκτικό στο νερό και την υγρασία, υψηλής πυκνότητας και σκληρότητας που το καθιστά εξαιρετικά ανθεκτικό στη κατασκευή επίπλων. Η διάρκεια ζωής αυτού του ξύλου μπορεί να παραταθεί με την εφαρμογή ενός προστατευτικού βερνικιού και η καθαριότητα του γίνεται με την εφαρμογή βρεγμένου πανιού.

Material information:

• Mango Wood: It is an extremely popular material for making furniture and decorative objects. It is made from the wood of the mango tree (Mangifera indica), which is the same one that produces the well-known fruit. Its color ranges from light yellow to light brown with red or brown streaks. It is dense and one of the hardest woods available.

Maintenance instructions:

• Mango Wood: Mango wood requires relatively simple maintenance. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth to remove dust and the use of special wood moisturizing products to maintain its natural shine are recommended.
• Metal: If it is any indoor metal, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the appropriate option. However, if it is metal outdoor furniture, you should follow the steps below: 

1. For longer-lasting protection, treat your metal furniture with a protective cream that you can easily obtain from commercial stores.
2. If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), then it is very durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.
3. If your metal furniture is not electrostatically painted, then you should take extra care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers and, if possible, bring it indoors during the winter.
4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
