The metal canopy bed ΜΜ572.02 is a single bed in WHITE color, for a mattress size of 90X190cm, which refers to other eras and constitutes a vintage reference point in your bedroom. It consists of 4 high columns that join at the tops, creating the canopy of the bed.

Mini Story: The use of the four-poster bedroom began around the 15th century in Central European countries. The canopy of the bed was covered around the perimeter by curtains, giving an air of grandeur to the final result. It is considered a fairy-tale piece of furniture because it was used by the upper classes. Princes and kings would cover their beds with heavy, velvet curtains to protect their private moments from servants but also to keep the cold away from their bed! In China, however, it was used by all social classes and was even the most important piece of furniture in the house. That is why brides often received…a four-poster bed as a dowry! Many of the beds had thick wooden pillars and a wooden canopy decorated with carved representations. Later, the wooden pillars were replaced by metal.
