CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The frame that ends at the legs of the armchair is made of highly durable metal.

The entire rest of the armchair is made of woven wicker. Wicker is not a material, it is a method of making furniture mainly for outdoor spaces. It is an ancient technique, in which craftsmen steam the natural or synthetic material and then bend it into the shape they want. When the material dries, it hardens and the remaining pieces of the furniture are sewn onto the frame. Most garden furniture and outdoor furniture in general uses synthetic material made of PVC, i.e. high-quality artificial fibers. This gives the wicker weave excellent strength and durability in extreme conditions of heat or cold, while the HM5458 also has a UV stabilizer for greater protection from the sun's rays.

MAINTENANCE:
The synthetic material of wicker does not require special maintenance. It does not absorb heat, is completely water-resistant (waterproof), does not alter its shape or color and withstands harsh weather conditions. Wicker outdoor furniture needs plenty of water - cold or hot - and a soft cloth or sponge. We DO NOT use detergents, bleaches or polishes, because they will discolor the color. If, nevertheless, the use of detergent is necessary, then we use mild soap or a little baking soda dissolved in hot water. We DO NOT use a pressure washer or a pressure hose because we will destroy the fibers. Finally, if we do not have the possibility of storing it indoors, at very low temperatures, it would be a good idea to cover it with ventilated covers.
