The construction is made of solid SUAR wood. When we refer to solid, we mean wood that is made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid is the most expensive choice in wood type but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Suar wood is the wood of the Albizia Saman tree, sometimes called the rain tree, a tree native to South America. This tree was introduced to Indonesia as a plantation tree. Each piece of Suar wood, like each snowflake, is unique. The formation of the “grains” of the wood can vary significantly, making one piece seem more desirable to a particular customer than another.
It has surpassed mahogany for furniture made in Indonesia, due to the tree's fast growth.
Properly dried, suar wood is very strong and durable.

MAINTENANCE:
The fact that SUAR is included in hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary a cleaning with a damp cloth.
