Material information:

• Chipboard: Chipboard, also known as chipboard, is a composite wood material made from small pieces of wood, usually pine or fir, glued together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in the manufacture of furniture, interior surfaces and structural applications.
• MDF (Medium-density fibreboard/ινοσανίδα): είναι παράγωγο ξύλου. Για την παραγωγή του χρησιμοποιούνται ρητίνες (κόλλες) για την συγκόληση των ινών ξύλου οι οποίες συμπιέζονται με ειδικές θερμαινόμενες πρέσες. Είναι πιο πυκνό από την μοριοσανίδα (chipboard) και ανθεκτικό σε αντοχή. • Melamine (LPB): LPB (Low Pressure Melamine) is a synthetic material widely used in the surface treatment of particleboard in furniture and surface manufacturing, due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates such as MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) or OSB plywood to produce durable surfaces. 

Maintenance instructions:

• Chipboard: To clean chipboard, you can use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and a mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
• MDF: To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe up any liquids immediately. Do not use harsh cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.

• Melamine (LPB): One of the most well-known materials in the furniture industry is melamine. To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from water.
