MATERIAL:
This "star" is made of chrome-plated metal and its strength is unsurpassed. Chrome has a steely and shiny color and is a hard and brittle metal with a high melting temperature. Metallic chromium has high corrosion resistance and high hardness. Thus, it is widely used in the protection of steel, while also offering a shiny finish. What makes chromium used in coatings is the fact that it is unstable in an oxygen environment and quickly forms a thin layer of oxide, which does not allow oxygen to penetrate further, resulting in the protection of the substrate from rust. Another advantage of the final coating is its resistance to abrasion. Finally, from a decorative point of view, we would say that chromium gives a sense of purity to the space.

The ease of installing the new star depends on how easily you can remove the old “star” from the chair’s shock absorber. Usually, shock absorbers get stuck in the “star” after many years of use and you need to hit the old “star” evenly with a hammer to unclip it from the shock absorber. Then, simply snap the new star onto the shock absorber and the chair is ready to use.
