CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The construction is made of solid SUAR wood. When we refer to solid, we mean wood that is made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid is the most expensive choice in wood type but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Suar wood is the wood of the Albizia Saman tree, sometimes called the rain tree, a tree native to South America. This tree was introduced to Indonesia as a plantation tree. The “heart” of the wood is close to the color of walnut, while the rest of the body of the wood is lighter in color. Properly dried, suar wood is very strong and durable. Each piece of Suar wood, like each snowflake, is unique. The pattern of the “grains” of the wood can vary significantly, making one piece seem more desirable to a particular customer than another.

MAINTENANCE:
The durability of this wood makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and, when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth.
