Info: The carpet, or rug, has been a part of human culture for centuries. The oldest surviving carpet in the world is found in Armenia and dates back to the 5th century BC. Of course, the knotted carpet probably originated in the 3rd or 2nd millennium BC in Western Asia, perhaps in the Caspian Sea region (Northern Iran) or from Armenia, although there is evidence that goats and sheep had been slaughtered for this purpose since the 7th millennium! It is clear, therefore, that it is resistant to all kinds of discomfort and especially to moisture. The cotton base of the carpet is also particularly resistant to moisture.

MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to the durable construction materials, this rug can be washed without fear under running water with mild detergents, such as dishwashing detergent. Of course, there are also special cleaners on the market for all types of rugs that you can use without fear. Just be careful not to rub the bottom part, which is cotton, hard, but wash it only with water.
